Much of a company’s success depends on many factors.  For example, being successful in a job doesn’t always equal massive profits. There are other ways to measure success within a company. One of those ways can be determined by its’ people and how a particular person fills their role within the company’s day to day operations.

When a company hires its’ employees to fill positions, in particular, key positions in the Management area, it can be challenging to say the least to find just the right person for the job. It takes a person with just the right balance of skills, personality, talent and even charm.

For the last 6 years, Adopt A Highway® has been fortunate to have just such a person heading up the Marketing Department. Erin Marchesano is a person who is a natural at her job, with an endless amount of ideas mixed with just the right amount of fortitude, talent and direction. The truth is that there aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe her. She is someone people look up to and respect because she knows what it takes to get the job done. She affectionately refers to her Marketing team as “tiny but tough” because, while the size of the team may be small, we accomplish great big things for Adopt A Highway® and our customers. And those accomplishments have been achieved because of their strong leadership of Erin. She always has a surplus of fresh ideas and is willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

It takes a rare person who can take a vision and actually bring it to life. The countless projects along the way in her journey here at Adopt A Highway® have contributed to this company’s success in ways that cannot be measured in numbers, but also in growth in relationships with vendors, DOT’s, clients and even between departments within our company. Erin is someone whose character has a way of making those around her better people.

Along with great abilities, comes great opportunity. And sometimes in life, a chance comes along that’s just too good to pass up, which is exactly what’s happened with Erin. She is moving on to bigger things, taking her Marketing skills to places that will help her explore new and exciting opportunities.

A person’s success can be measured in many ways, but the biggest measure is often the impact a person makes on other people’s lives and when it comes to that with Erin, it is immeasurable. We wish her all the success life has to offer.

Here’s to you Erin!
