Intro

What do Rock and Roll, the Cavaliers, and the Adopt A Highway® Program have in common? All three are proud to call the great state of Ohio home!  For over 30 years, Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation® (AHMC) has been a leader in the highway sponsorship program and we have now expanded our services to half of the nation!  Our team at Adopt A Highway is certain the highway sponsorship program will benefit the community, environment, and also a countless amount of local businesses.

With the holidays fast approaching and more remote employees beginning to return to the office, highways across the state expect to see pre-pandemic levels of traffic once again.  With the rise in commuters, state officials predict levels of litter across the state’s highways to rise as well, but not if Adopt A Highway® has anything to say about it!

Who is Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation?

Even though many people have seen sponsor recognition signs across the highways, many people are still unsure of how the program works. Let us explain!  We give businesses and organizations the opportunity to partake in a state’s highway sponsorship program while all maintenance and litter removal services are taken care of by our professionally trained crews.

Our services are mutually beneficial to the state’s Department of Transportation (DOT) and to the businesses looking to give back to their community.  AHMC helps the DOT to retain highway sponsorships; thereby, increasing the cleanliness and safety of the highways across the United States. Our sponsor-funded litter removal services allow for business owners the opportunity to gain positive brand exposure by displaying their business name and logo on a highway sign located on the right-hand shoulder of the highway.

By partnering with local businesses that Ohioans love, the program can increase Ohio’s DOT sustainability initiatives, while also providing residents with cleaner and safer highways to travel on.  Ohio businesses will be recognized for finding a meaningful way to give back to the community.

Headed To Ohio?

With many beginning to coordinate their holiday travel plans, some are headed home for the holidays, while some are still looking for their next vacation destinations. If you’re still deciding, then perhaps it’s time to consider Ohio!

Ohio truly has a bit of fun for everyone.  For the more adventurous tourists, the beauty of Ohio’s Appalachian Mountains and the serenity of Lake Erie will be sure to make for a picturesque Instagram post. Not the outdoorsy type? More of an adrenaline junkie? Not a problem! They don’t call Ohio the rollercoaster capital of the world for nothing! Ohio is home to some record-breaking attractions such as Cedar Point’s Top Thrill Dragster, which held the title of the tallest rollercoaster in the world until 2019!

If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, then the nostalgia of the one and only Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a must-see! The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will surely take you on a stroll down memory lane as you’ll get to hear the music that defined the decades in the Hall of Fame inductee gallery. Even if the outdoors, rollercoasters, or music aren’t your cups of tea, there are still countless amounts of attractions that the Buckeye state has to offer!
