Colorado Sponsor a Highway Program

How does Adopt A Highway sponsorship work in Colorado?

In Colorado, businesses can sponsor available highway segments through AHMC. AHMC’s trained professional crews perform the litter removal, and the business receives recognition on an approved sponsor recognition sign or panel under the applicable state program. Availability, sign rules, pricing, and terms vary by market and location. Request a quote for the segment you are considering.

Sponsor a Highway in Colorado

Colorado Sponsor a Highway Program

Traffic varies by roadway and location. Sponsor recognition builds through repeated presence on routes people travel regularly.

Colorado Sponsor A Highway

Colorado Mainline Sign

For each segment you sponsor in Colorado, one litter removal sign with a sponsor recognition panel will be placed on the shoulder of the highway, facing traffic within each one-mile segment. Your sign will be blue with white reflective letters and measure 60″ x 48″ in size. Your sponsor recognition panel will measure 54″ x 18.”

Our art department works with you on a sponsor recognition panel showing your approved company name and primary logo.

Available sponsorship locations can be taken, so a location that is open today may not remain available.

Colorado Ramp Sign

Ramp signs are placed along the on-ramp and off-ramp of major highways. They are slightly smaller than a regular sign, with the sponsor panel measuring 34″ x 14″.

Available sponsorship locations can be taken, so a location that is open today may not remain available.
